Receptionist on the phone was super helpful & friendly. The special for an eye exam, glasses, & plastic lenses all for only $89.00 was fantastic compared to the ridiculous quote of $110 just for an eye exam at the Optometrist next to Lens Crafters in Willowbrook Mall. As it is Sunday and the doctor is not in, my appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, and if all goes well I will be completely happy.

Belmont Golf Course has thrice hosted the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School. There's a reason the event has returned to this Les Furber, GDS designed golf course - it's one of the best in the Lower Mainland. The full length championship course, which opened in 1992, features six par threes and four sets of tees, making it perfect for golfers of all skill and experience levels. As evidenced by the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School use, Belmont is a popular British Columbia golf course for tournaments. Belmont was selected to host the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School from 2005 to 2007. The 2005 medalist was Will Yanagisawa. In 2006 Chang Hong from Korea was the medalist by a record-breaking 10 strokes. Al Scott Lock & Safe was started in Vancouver from the ground up in 1973. The first service truck was a 1963 GMC pickup truck with a homemade camper for a shop on the back of the truck. The business was started by Allan and his wife Eileen Scott. Al saw the need for a locksmith company to provide professional locksmith service that would master key the large commercial buildings and keep an accurate file of the codes for the convenience of the building management people and also provide better building security. Over the next 13 years the Scott's with the help of many people were able to build a company with 6 mobile units and 2 stores. By 1991 Al and Eileen decided that it was time to retire but were very concerned about what would happen to the customers that had come to rely on the master key systems that they had provided and also about the future of their loyal employees.
