Over the years, I personally have purchased over $10k worth of gear from Long and McQuade. About 7 years ago, Kamloops became my store. My relationship with L&M, their service and quality of equipment has been consistently excellent. Lyla is an absolute joy to work with. Recently, I have started purchasing my church equipment for PA sound etc from them.
That said... Over the years I have had two issues with purchases. Both were resolved quickly and pleasantly.

Summit Medical Clinic has been a part of Kamloops since the early 1990s. Two young doctors moved from Logan Lake and set up a walk-in clinic at a strip mall on Summit Drive. The Clinic was open until 9:00pm and Walk-in clinics were on their way into Medical culture. Neither of the first two doctors practice at Summit Clinic today. In 1999 Summit Clinic moved down the hill to a new mall at 1380 Summit Drive where we have been for the past fifteen years. The Clinic is appreciated by the patients who are without a family doctor. In Kamloops, that is a large number. There are many patients whose Family Doctor is within the Clinic. Unfortunately none of the Doctors can take on new patients.
Summit Clinic accommodates as many patients as it can. Summit Clinic fills quickly as patients call or line up to get the walk-in spots available. It’s a new twist on meeting medical needs but the parking is free and the patients learn to deal with the system.

The Downtown X-Ray Clinic is a modern clinic specializing in general X-rays taking special care with infants and the elderly. It is located in the lower level of the Lansdowne Village Mall (London Drugs), open Monday-Saturday 9-5, open throughout the lunch hour. It is the only X-ray clinic in Kamloops to have 2 machines working to keep the wait time to a minimal. Parking is free. All requisitions are accepted. No appointments necessary.
