We called, on a Friday, about removal of 2 large trees (including stump grinding) and the pruning of 2 bushes. The contact came to estimate the cost and time on Saturday and the work was completed by Tuesday. The team did excellent work, took great care with all safety aspects and were extremely considerate of surrounding properties. This was our second large project with Poplar Mechanics, with both the cost and overall workmanship being exceptional. We highly recommend their service

Owner/operator Glenn Salewski is a passionate and certified arborist located in beautiful Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. He’s been working with trees for over 20 years, with humble beginnings picking fruit and learning about forestry during his formative high school years.
Soon after, he found himself working on a slashing truck, clearing lots, and learning the in’s and outs of the industry. Fast forward, and Glenn worked with B.C. Hydro for 10 years, earning his climbing and storm tech certifications.
His business, I Cut Trees, is fully insured and utilizes only the best of modern, state-of-the-art equipment, focusing on residential forestry applications.
