It’s a hard decision when placing a loved one in LTC facility. Main St Terrace is an old building, but what they lack in aesthetics they make up for with incredible staff. . I am astounded as to how well my mom is doing there. She’s happy, benefits from the interaction, she’s safe. With my mom’s dementia there is no way I could provide the same level of care, meals, hygiene, nursing, dr visits, physiotherapist, sensory games, outings, health, safety & security. Mom and I have been very happy with the PSWs (Eva and Carrie) assigned to help Mom. Eva is with Mom Monday through Saturday and helps Mom with whatever is needed. She is always smiling. Carrie is with Mom on Sundays and is equally wonderful helping Mom. At this time Mom is 101 years young and loves having these girls with her.
