The Community Resource Centre is a "community benefit agency." Our vision is a community where everyone has a chance to succeed. Our Child Care and Ontario Early Years programs support families in helping their children reach their full potential while our Outreach and Support Services work with families most in need. Because the first six years of life are so important...". Our Child Care Program is professionally led by qualified Early Childhood Educators. The facilities are licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment for children aged 2 1/2 to 12 years old. Preschool programming is available Monday to Friday from 7a.m. to 6 p.m. at our Fergus sites, J.D. Hogarth School and St Joseph School.
It's fun to curl at the ACC! This 4-sheet curling club is located at 242 Churchill Road North and is open for curling from the beginning of October to mid-April. Whether you are six years old or going on 96, a beginner or enjoy competitive curling, single or a couple, there are numerous league options for you! Enjoy curling during the day or in various evening draws including leagues for children, teens, adults, seniors and Special Olympians. We also have an adult Learn-to-Curl program for those interested in learning about the game, rock delivery, sweeping, etiquette and game strategy.
