CMHA-NL is a provincial division of the nation-wide leader and champion for mental health. Our mission is to facilitate access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness. CMHA-NL’s provincial office is in St. John’s, and we also have two regional offices located in Grand Falls-Windsor (Central) and Stephenville (Western).

Newfoundland & Labrador Psychology Board is the regulatory body for Psychology within the province, under the authority of the Psychologists Act. The board consists of five elected psychologists and two public members appointed by the provincial health minister. In order to practice within the province, psychologists are required to be registered by the board.
