The dozens of activities available can include supported employment, volunteering in the community, taking a yoga class or cooking and baking in the seniors' program at the Garth Homer Centre.GHS puts a strong emphasis on creating opportunities for the clients to use their skills and abilities in the community. That may mean working at Starbucks, cleaning stalls at Mary's Farm & Sanctuary, recycling bottles to raise money for a village in Africa, or volunteering at a radio station.
