MCC About the MCC The year was 1980, with the City of Mississauga barely a teenager, the Mississauga Children's Choir (MCC) was born. Now more than thirty years later, the MCC has grown and evolved well beyond what anyone could have imagined. It all began with a mandate to provide young, enthusiastic singers with an exceptional musical education, through participation in performances, recordings, retreats, tours, festivals, and community service. In recent years, we have expanded our chorister's education by including a graduated theory program as well as sectional vocal training. Today, the MCC is composed of 125 culturally diverse choristers who make up the Training, Junior, Main, Concert and Boys choirs. Under the artistic guidance of Dr. Caron Daley Artistic Director; and Margaret Stanfield, Assistant Conductor, the MCC has achieved its goal of being Mississauga's premier children's choir.
