The Manitoba Chiropractors Association licenses and regulates the practice of chiropractic in Manitoba. As a legislated, self-governing body, it is our mission to serve both the public and chiropractic professionals with the enforcement of guidelines, directives, and code of ethics.
The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada is a federation of 11 provincial and regional associations of property and casualty insurance brokers. Through its member associations, the IBAC represents approximately 36,000 insurance brokers in virtually every community across the country. Similarly, the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba is an organization representing approximately 2,000 broker members from all communities across our province. MCAMMember CategoriesMCAM is a non-profit trade organization affiliated with the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada and represents plumbing and heating contractors in their relationship with the construction industry, legislative departments of municipal and provincial government and other industry-related bodies. Also represented are Associate Members (suppliers to the mechanical contracting trade), Affiliate Members (representatives of related associations) and Mechanical Services Contractors. There are separate fee structures for each category. Both Union and Non Union Contractors comprise its membership.MCAM has a long record of service in Manitob,a having grown out of the Manitoba Branch of the Canadian Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association.The affairs of the Association are conducted by a Board of Directors elected from the membership. Permanent staff facilities for day-to-day activity and representation of members' concerns are maintained in Winnipeg.Standing Committee
Our organization is comprised of 12 Directors elected for a two year term. The five person Executive Committee consists of the Chairperson of the Board, Past Chair, 1st Vice Chairperson, 2nd Vice Chairperson, and the Secretary Treasurer. The board meets on a monthly basis and reviews reports submitted by the Chair of the various committees. it is the mission of the Manitoba Home Builders' Association to be the voice of the residential construction industry in Manitoba; to provide a forum for the ongoing education of the membership with respect to technology and business practices; to achieve an environment in which the membership can operate successfully; and to promote affordability and choice in housing for all Manitobans.
