I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. You know, never mind the glitter and gold you see around garages big and small, this station won't stick you, and even may give you some freebies and show your visually first hand your problems. You are treated respectfully as a customer should. Couldn't find a better "order out of chaos" manager/mechanic. Had two vans done there and rode away like I was driving a Cadillac. Sometimes it's hard to pin down a problem, but they don't quit and may lessen the bill if warranted.They know their stuff.
