So a bunch of us finally headed down to the Blue Canoe for dinner. A few had been there before, and a few hadn't, but we always go and critique places together. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, not a detail was spared in the design of the restaurant.
The real tester is of course the food, and it did not disappoint. They've thrown together some amazing flavours and clearly taken some chances that have worked out in their favour. The Drummettes....I don't eat chicken wings anywhere, but these ones were in a soy sauce of some sort that was fantastic!! The BBQ Salmon was probably the best salmon that I've ever had at a restaurant....not overcooked like most places. So much flavour. That was it for me, but others had a wide variety of food and rave reviews on all counts. A few questions on the sides that they came with, but generous portions and smiles all around. They have programs available for everyone – children, youth, adults, pre school, special needs, families – and they specialize these programs specifically to suit each particular group’s needs. They have the largest facility available at their Richmond location. They are the best place to go for your child’s birthday party as they have a special birthday room as well as having the whole school privately for your party. They design programs available for schools and other facilities for those who cannot come into their locations. They have an excellent instructor to student ratio. The instructors are absolutely the best you could ever find anywhere. They do much more than excel in teaching martial arts, they instill valuable life skills in children as well as give back to the community both locally and around the world through numerous chartable works.

Last week I brought in my mothers rings to be cleaned and polished, and to replace a missing diamond for her birthday. The rings were returned to me the next day and the price I owed was less than quoted. I was overwhelmed with the shine of the cleaned rings as they looked like new once again! I was fully satisfied with the services provided by Scott at Seafair Jewellers and I feel confident in recommending my friends to go there because I know they will get the same outstanding service that I received.
