In 1991/92 it amalgamated with the Manitoba Electrical Association (MEA) to form the Manitoba Electrical league Inc. In June 2014 the name was changed to Electrical Association of Manitoba with a tag line ''Strength in Connection''. The organizatiobn is rebranding itself and wants to be seen an association that offers stability, strength and professionalism.The Association EAM is a non-profit organization made up of electrical contractors, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, agents and consultants. The EAM provides a variety of services to its members including group insurance, up-to-date industry information, networking opportunities, representation to Governments, educational and training programs to help member companies and there employees to be current with industry requirements and trends.During the Leagués 2012 'Current Connections' electrical showcase, MEL General Manager Gord Macpherson was interviewed by Electrical Business Magazine to discuss the League and Showcase event.
Jomar is an architect, designer, builder, 3D modeller, graphic artist, web developer and an entrepreneur. He studied B.S. in Architecture at Mapua Institute of Technology, Intramuros, Manila in 1994 and started his career as a working student. Beginning in 1995, his work experiences includes 5 years in scale model building, 6 years as manual draftsman, 3 years assistant teacher in an international school, more than 15 years in CAD drafting, about 13 years in 3D image rendering, practiced 7 years of professional architecture and construction project management in the Philippines, and 7 years in graphic arts, web development and business management. Most of these experiences were done simultaneously.
Careers The North End Women's Centre has been serving women and their families for since 1984. We are a registered non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.Our purpose is to provide a friendly atmosphere, where women can receive the understanding, support, and resources they need to make informed choices their lives. Resources include, but are not limited to, information, referrals, counselling, outreach, employment programs, transitional housing, groups, and volunteer opportunities. These services are determined by the community through feedback from staff and participants.We have three sites:394 Selkirk Avenue - Our main building offers counselling services, groups, addictions continued recovery program, information and referral, outreach, advocacy, and a drop-in area.Chriss Tetlock Place - Located in the North End of Winnipeg, Chriss Tetlock Place is a second stage transition housing facility and home to our addictions program.382-384 Serlkirk Avenue - This building is home to the Up Shoppe, two transitional housing units, and four offices.
