Scout Magazine – launched in late 2008 by local writers/photographers Andrew Morrison and Michelle Sproule – is Vancouver's leading food and culture website. Its main objective has been the same from the start: to 'scout out' and promote the things that make Vancouver such a sweet place to be. It does this with an emphasis on the city's independent spirit to foster a sense of connectedness within and between our communities, and to introduce our readers to the people who grow and cook our food, play the raddest tunes in our better venues, create our most interesting art, and design everything from what we wear to the spaces we inhabit.
I had been looking at meal plan services in Vancouver for a while. I researched alot and felt that in order to hit my weight goals I needed a service like eat your cake.
The food and service has been amazing. I am incredibly surprised by the innovative recipes and delicious concuctions.
It has helped me lose 5 lbs within the first week. I recommend to anyone to try.Read more

According to the lunar calendar, the Mooncake Festival is celebrated every year on the 15th day of the 8th month, during the mid-autumn season when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. Children play with lanterns that resemble the full moon and enjoy pastries known as Mooncakes. Ancient times, mooncakes were made simply by lard and plain red bean paste, all of which were the only affordable ingredients. Today, mooncakes have adapted to accommodate a diversity of preferences.
