Kingston Christian Fellowship is a committed body of believers who have a desire to walk out the Lordship of Jesus Christ in their lives. The original members were people involved in a weekly home Prayer and Bible Study group for approximately seven years. We were strongly motivated to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ
Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat, known throughout her life simply as Sophie, established the Society of the Sacred Heart in the aftermath of the French Revolution, when the Church came under assault, the Christian religion itself faced the threat of eradication, and brutality and war were daily realities. In this time of social upheaval and deprivation, women throughout France began to form small communities focused primarily on delivering health care and education to the disenfranchised.
We hope that this portal will provide you with information about the life and work of the church. you will find weekly sermons, points of inspiration, coming events and hall booking information. You are a blessing to us and hopefully we can be a blessing t
Sydenham Village is a quaint historic village nestled in a valley north of Kingston, Ontario. It has all the ammenities one could want in a town; a few restaurants, a bank, gift shops, a grocery and hardware store, and even a wonderful beach and community park, which we call ''The Point,'' great for sports, boating, swimming, and other outdoor recreation.Sydenham was settled in 1836, and has a rich and diverse history. It was originally called Sloats Landing, and was later named after Lord Sydenham, Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada, in office between 1839-1841. He purportedly visited here and impressed the locals such that they decided to name their home after him.The village grew over the last 150 plus years because of local mica mines, saw mills, and a regional highschool. It now contains many businesses which you can view on this site.We encourage you to visit Sydenham, and shop at the local stores. We cant wait to meet you!Rock and Roll 101 Interested in music?
