When Jennifer Legge-Chislett did the floral arrangements and bouquets for her own wedding, little did she know it would be the beginning of fulfilling her own dream of owning her own business. As she completed her own wedding plans, Jennifer found she had a talent for putting bouquets and such together. That was where it was supposed to stop though. There were no future plans to do so, until her cousin had looked for someone to designs bouquets for her wedding. After completing those, Jennifer became aware of the skill she possessed and started pursuing it as a business – after being approached by numerous people she decided it was time to go after her own dreams. Looking at the marketplace, there are not many in the region who do what Jennifer does. Along with a name supplied by her daughter, Floral Dreams was born. Your dreams become Jennifer’s dreams as they work alongside her to a common goal.

It has been more than 43 years since our funeral home was started on the Burin Peninsula. First known as Marystown Funeral Home, which is known today as Wiseman's Funeral Homes. Since that time we have extended into the towns of Burin, Fortune and the surrounding communities to better meet the needs of the families we serve. Today, Wiseman's Funeral Homes continues to meet the commitment that was started at that time, providing the care and compassionate services to our families and communities on the Burin Peninsula.
