J'ai fait l'échange d'un véhicule en juillet 2010 et j'ai été conseillé par le propriétaire (M. Labrecque). J'ai visité 12 endroits et fait l'essai de 9 véhicules. Je regardais des véhicules de 3 ans/70 000 km jusqu'au neufs. Le véhicule avait attiré mon attention via son site web et je suis passé le voir. Il provenait du sud de l'ontario et le dessous du véhicule le démontrait très bien (hivers plus doux qu'ici). Il avait été inspecté par la SAAQ donc déjà prêt à être vendu. Ce qui me tanne chez plusieurs commerçant d'automobiles (même les concessionnaires) nous disent qu'il vont le remettre à neuf une fois vendu. Personnellement, je déteste cette façon de faire (essai routier sur un véhicule dont son état n'est pas optimal, on négocie quelque chose dont on ignore dans quel état il sera lors de la livraison). Faut croire que je suis tout seul à penser comme ça étant donné que c'est si répandu. M. Labrecque m'a sorti les entretiens qui avaient été faits auparavant, les rapports d'inspection (son mécano + SAAQ), CarProof, RDPRM...Plutôt que de mettre de la pression pour que je m'empresse à laisser un dépôt, il a préféré attendre que je l'est fait pour me dire qu'il avait quelqu'un autre qui était venu l'essayer et semblait très intéressé. Étant donné que je laissait mon véhicule en échange, il s'est montré très flexible sur la date de livraison pour me laisser le temps d'essayer de me trouver un acheteur. Malgré la transaction déjà faite, il m'a rendu un énorme service. Il a accepté de s'occuper de faire installer mon hitch car j'étais un peu mal pris avec la date de livraison et un voyage prévu presque en même temps, et ce, sans frais. À la livraison, le véhicule était vraiment impeccable, il a prit le temps de me parler de l'équipement et des accessoires avant que je parte avec.
