During this time the machinery is not running, but they are all available for viewing, along with the displays in the buildings.Parking and unserviced camping is available throughout the museum open season. The food booth is operational during the season for those who are hungry or thirsty.The museum site is wheelchair accessible.A playground for the children is available.Please Note:Visitors Pets are not allowed within the museum site, except for Service animals for people with disabilities.Join us for Pioneer Days , the weekend of the third Sunday of July. Sunday features our steam engine and tractor parades. During the weekend you can see the dynamometer, buzz saw, the log planer, bundle threshing, plowing, blacksmithing, wheelwright and horse drawn wagon rides.Other heritage demonstrations include soap and butter making, heritage crafts, rope making, wool carding, lard rendering, clay oven baking and milk separating.

Our guests come from all walks of life, from victims of abusive relationships to families of terminally ill children, youth in need of sound counselling and everyone in between. We are providers to the community of awarness on violence against women. We are involved daily with the challenge of helping women pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.
