Paraskevas Terezakis began his professional training in his native Greece, where his professional career started in theatre and dance with Experimental Ballet Athens. After moving to Canada in 1979, he studied at Toronto Dance Theatre, York University, and Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. In 1986, he started Kinesis Dance somatheatro and since then the company has performed world-wide over forty original dance works for solo, duet, and groups.

Its mandate is to re-define the meaning of Canadian culture through teaching, producing and performing new dance theatre with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural exploration.

Bev Mantovani provides students with 31 years of teaching experience. In her studio she has created a Flamenco home for students to express themselves with dramatic movements and skillful footwork, as they come to understand the exciting ryhthms and soulful songs of gypsy music.
