Jaymor School of Dancing in Aurora since 1969 continues its history of excellent dance quality through generations of its graduates. Jaymor boasts a large stand-alone facility with four studios, a lunchroom & comfortable waiting area for parents & siblings. Under the direction of owner Nancy Dinner & her team of professionally qualified teachers, the studio is known for its high level of technique & unique choreography in all disciplines - tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theater, hip hop & outstanding acrobatic work. Jaymor classes cater to the youngest (age 3) with ECE teachers & has also added adult/seniors (tap) classes to the roster. Jaymor has a traveling competitive team, the Aurora Aerials whereby many students have graduated to various professional levels of dance, teaching & choreography. Ajax Dance Company, formerly Twinkletoes Studio of Dance has been developing Dancers in Ajax for the past 12 years. We are proudly certified in A.D.A.P.T., R.A.D. and Acrobatic Arts. Our Studio is equipped with professional grade Stage Step sprung dance floors, allowing dancers to dance longer without fatigue and preventing injuries on joints and backs due to a cushioned landing. We offer a vast variety of programs from recreational to competitive. Full Year, sessions, camps and, birthday parties. Ages 2.5 years and up. Private and group classes. All full year dancers will receive a complimentary copy of our professionally shot year end show DVD, valued at $48.00 (One DVD per family). We have office staff readily available during our Recreational classes.

Our current location offers four bright, spacious, and climate controlled studios that operate six days a week. Our instructors are fully qualified members of the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing). They are professionals who continually educate themselves with new, innovative styles and techniques.We offer unsurpassed instruction in ballet, pointe, acro, jazz, tap, highland, musical theatre, hip hop, and lyrical, focusing on technique and musicality. Classes are organized according to age and experience on both recreational and competitive levels. Our Twinkle Toes dancers start as young as three years old while there seems to be no limit to the ages of our adult dancers.JSOD's success is due to the fact that we treat each and every one of our dancers and their families equally and enthusiastically. We recognize that our students are eager to learn dance skills and technique while at the same time remembering that everyone wants to have fun and feel good about themselves. Our dancers have shown their support, as have their families. We are very proud of this award as well as the successes of our annual spring Showcase Dreams Do Come True, the marks of excellence during our BATD student examinations and the achievements of our Competitive and Elite dance teams that travel and perform across Ontario as well as internationally. From Twinkle Toes to the most advanced teens and adults, all students are encouraged to reach their highest potential and achieve excellence every step of the way.Our annual calendar begins in September of every year, but we do accept new enrollment on an ongoing basis throughout the dance year, provided there is space and the inclusion of new students does not disrupt routines. We welcome new and experienced dancers to join us.
