Internationally award winning cake designer Lisa Bugeja started Flour Confections in 2004 designing wedding & event cakes for the Toronto area. Five years later, Lisa envisioned a need for a specialty cake decorating supply source in the East end of the city. So in 2009; laying roots in Pickering, Ontario; Lisa's husband Scott Bradley joined Flour Confections Inc. and they opened its doors to the cake decorating community. Four years later, Flour Confections Inc. has grown to a new retail location, a new warehouse, a staff of 12, a global reach and nearly 2500 products (and growing!) while still maintaining its local roots and small business approach. Lisa continues to maintain an active role in the cake community and stays current in the industry, while developing many new products which are unique to Flour Confections Inc. We pride ourselves in supporting local small businesses, working with North American vendors where we can and carrying quality name brand products.
We are taking the next step to protect the safety of our people and communities by closing retail stores across North America beginning today Monday, March 16 until at least Friday, March 27. You can still shop online, but most importantly stay healthy, be safe and look out for one another.
Watch programs of herbal interest from the Richters video archive. Some of these are from VHS tapes so the video can be a bit fuzzy. Included are programs featuring the founders of Richters Herbs, Otto and Waltraut Richter, and their son and current president, Conrad. Our new videos are here too; come back often as we produce more of our own programs right here at Richters.
