Regional Power, a subsidiary of Manulife Financial, has been in the business of developing, building, refurbishing and operating hydroelectric power plants since 1985. Currently, Regional Power operates nine hydro plants with a total generating capacity of 88 megawatts and has two plants under construction (19 megawatts generating capacity to be completed by 2015).
