Canadian Alliance Terminals Inc. was opened in Vancouver, BC in 1999 by founders Jim Nielsen and Sandy Kay. They began with one warehouse, which is now home to the Headquarters and a dream. Jim, CEO, was in warehousing and distribution for 35 years, starting as a truck driver and working his way up through the ranks of warehousing and into management positions to finally become vice-president of The Crawford Group. After that company was sold, he struck out on his own and together with his wife, Sandy Kay, opened Canadian Alliance Terminals Inc. with a focus on third party warehousing, distribution and transportation services in the Greater Vancouver area. Sandy has an entrepreneurial background and strong skills in Finance and Administration. Under their management and care, the company now has five warehouses in the greater Vancouver area, and a reputation for excellence in service and commitment to customers and staff.We strive to generate profitable commerce while providing excellent customer service in the Canadian warehousing, distribution and transportation business.
