In fact, the founder of Covertite (Albert Warner) was fundamental in the establishment of the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association, as well as the Quebec Master Roofers Association. Our strong dedication to the industry continues, as evidenced in part by the involvement of our leadership. Our Vice President, Barry Warner, served as president of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association. Barry also sits on the Provincial Roofers Trade Labour Management Health and Safety Committee for the Infrastructure Health and Safety Committee (IHSA). Our President, Bruce Warner,is the Ottawa Region Representative regarding Labour Relations with the SMWIA in the Roofing Sector. In the past he also sat on the board of the OIRCA. Our firm has always had a strong commitment to staying abreast of the current developments in the roofing industry. IntermediariesThe Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan (PLEA) is a nonprofit, nongovernment organization that exists to educate and inform the people of Saskatchewan the law and the legal system. PLEA offers programs and services to the general public as well as to school communities.PLEA differs from a lawyer's office or a legal aid clinic in that it provides general information on the law rather than legal advice for specific problems. PLEA produces publications on many areas of the law and makes these available to the public at no charge.PLEA welcomes requests for general legal information on any topic. If we do not have the information that is needed, we will suggest the appropriate government agency or resource centre where the information may be found.PLEA's Youth and Schools Program strives to promote the integration of lawrelated education into schools. We develop classroom resources that can be used by teachers in various areas of the curriculum.
