Donna Krakowec was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws degree, both from the University of Victoria. After graduating from law school in 1997, Donna articled with MacIsaac & Company, and has remained an associate ever since. Her practice focusses on plaintiff personal injury work, assisting injured clients with ICBC and other insured injury claims.

Esk'etemc is a Secwepemctsin speaking group. Esk'etemc has 19 reserves situated on the Fraser River southwest of Williams Lake, with an approximate total area of 3,800 hectares. Esk'etemc's administrative offices and the majority of the population are located on IR #1 (Esk'et) about 50 kilometres from Williams Lake on the east side of the Fraser River at Alkali Lake. The current Esk'etemc population is 809 members with 384 members on-reserve and 349 off-reserve. Esk'et reserve has its own fire hall, store, gas station, motel, radio station, and a facility from which Esk'etemc controls and administers health and justice programs.

We are the Tsilhqot'in-speaking people - the original inhabitants of a vast and beautiful territory that encompasses forests, grasslands, lakes and desert. For thousands of years, the Tsilhqot'in people were self-reliant and well provided for through their own ingenuity and use of the land and nature.Tl'etinqox (Anaham) is the largest Tsilhqot'in (Chilcotin) community with over one thousand total members. We strive to be a role model as a community but also as a Government who represents its community and people as transparent as possible.
