As the sole proprietor of Singers' Studio, Heather Dufault has over twenty years' experience in performing and teaching singing in the Ottawa area. Prior to this, she studied and performed professionally as a singer and singing teacher for several years in Europe, and has worked with world-class teachers and performers on both sides of the Atlantic. This wealth of experience uniquely qualifies her to diagnose and remediate vocal problems, assist in establishing the foundations of excellent technique in the beginner, and share insight on performance style across a wide range of repertoire including classical and opera; musical theatre; and the many types of contemporary commercial/pop vocal styles.
