We started to look into solar 5 months ago. Only Flexible Solar were willing to help us optimized our system to the maximum. All the others didn't even want to look beyond their normal plan of action. We looked at making our system last well beyond the 20 year microFit contract so that we can grid tie and never pay for electricity again. They use the best system: SolarEdge with optimizers. As an engineer I spent months researching and designing our system. I can't tell you how annoyed I am with people who are in the service business and don't care about the customer. These guys do care. I expect our system will perform 20% above what other were suggesting. That will add about $24,000 more in total revenue to US. It is like we are getting a much needed SECOND PENSION INCOME. Don't go cheap on anything like panels and rails. Panels should b e made by a Tier One manufacturer.
I always say get 3 estimates and then go with Flexible Solar. I was working closely with another local company until they lied to me and it would have cost us about $12,000 in lost income. You must look at ROI and payback time. Things are very tight with this ridiculously low tariff rate but you can make it work for you.
