Alexwe're working on a fun science project at Wintergreen Studios this summer. In the interest of tallying and identifying all the species of plants on our land, we're constructing a herbarium. A herbarium is essentially a library of plants, a vast collection that catalogs the species composition in our surrounding area. Lindsay Davidson studied at the Reid School of Music in the University of Edinburgh - the first person in the world to finish any music academy majoring as a 'piper. We offer residential and out-patient treatment options, as well as our Family Healing Program. Fresh Start residents take part in an intensive recovery program that can last from 12 to 16 weeks. The program includes daily individual and group counseling, as well as recreational therapeutic activities. Our program is comprehensive and holistic: we aim to start the healing process physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Throughout our program we seek to foster respect, for self and others.
