Established by Anna, Ronald and Kathleen Cheung in 1974, Anna's Cake House remains within the Cheung family to this day. We are committed to treating our customers as part of our extended family. In the same way that we would only want the best for our family, we want each and every customer to have the best experience possible. We are dedicated to providing only the highest quality baked goods, without introducing artificial or chemical additives.

Scout Magazine – launched in late 2008 by local writers/photographers Andrew Morrison and Michelle Sproule – is Vancouver's leading food and culture website. Its main objective has been the same from the start: to 'scout out' and promote the things that make Vancouver such a sweet place to be. It does this with an emphasis on the city's independent spirit to foster a sense of connectedness within and between our communities, and to introduce our readers to the people who grow and cook our food, play the raddest tunes in our better venues, create our most interesting art, and design everything from what we wear to the spaces we inhabit.

Everything is made in house from scratch by a team of French from France bakers. We are pastry bakers. We use organic local fruits and veggies whenever possible. We are always working on improving our recipes and customer service. We believe in quality over quantity. We don't like food to go to waste so we thank you for your understanding when our display is not fully stocked at the end of the day. That's the price to pay for fresh products.
