Medicine Hat Community Health Services provides a range of public health services including immunization, breastfeeding support, and reproductive health education to the community of Medicine Hat in Alberta.
Lamont Health Care Centre is a 147 multilevel facility comprising of 14 Acute Care, 105 Long Term Care (includes 2 Respite and 2 Palliative Care beds) and a 42 suite Assisted Living which supports independent living for Seniors and the disabled. The facility also offers emergency care, in and out patient surgery to include general surgery, ENT, Cataract removal, foot and ankle podiatric surgery, gynecology, general medicine and pediatrics. General Laboratory and Radiology services are also available on site. Services beyond the current scope are referred to a major trauma centre in Edmonton. The site also houses medical clinics for family medicine practice, optometry , ENT and surgical referral clinics.
