5/5 across the board! Not surprised to see Matt getting so many positive shoutouts in the reviews. The guy was extremely informative and by no means pushed the sale at all what so ever. Was extremely quick with every response and got me everything I need to avoid ever paying a gym membership again! I have had excellent service and advice from Old McDonald's. A family business can provide advice on appliance brands based on real world experience. For example, which brands have little or not service support in the province of Ontario. They also offer extended warranties which are transferable to new owners! Delivery and set up of a new fridge was exemplary.

Excellent people to deal with. The other day in heavy fog a vehicle in front of me braked hard and came to full stop on Hwy, causing me to have to do the same. I had a crock pot full of soup which ended up ALL OVER the inside of my car. Vanessa and their crew were great to deal with and the job they did on my vehicle on such short notice was amazing! Thank you all. Highly recommend these folks!

Our insurance business has been operating since 1921 in Barrie and since 1988 in Toronto. The business has provided coverage from cargo shipments made in the 1920s to the present day needs of all businesses and individuals. The journey began in 1921 when Gordon and Monica Stevenson first opened up their insurance business in downtown Barrie. In 1947, John Stevenson, their son, entered the business. Continuing on the path, the next step happened in 1972 when Garry McCluskey became a partner of the firm.
The family business entered into a third generation with the addition of Gord, Jim, and Anne Stevenson in the 1980s. The emergence of Glenn and Wayne Dusome also occurred at this time. In 1985, there was a change in ownership and in 1989 the firm name was changed to Stevenson-Dusome. In 1990, we opened the life insurance division with the addition of Doug Conway.
