The LTPA is a locally-owned company serving elementary children in the Ottawa region since 1994. In partnership with the school boards, we are proud to have expanded our programs over the years and now provide exciting, educational and family friendly programs in over 40 elementary schools. Our mission is to offer programs that appeal to young children and meet the needs of their parents. Our programs are designed around the children having fun in a supportive environment where they build their self-esteem and confidence. Learn Photography Ottawa provides hands on, super fun, single day photography courses. Our 5 core courses have taken students from not knowing how to turn on their camera all the way to taking beautiful photos on fully Manual mode in a variety of conditions with confidence. Our 5 core courses include: Digital I: This is where it all starts. If you don't know about Aperture, or Shutter Speed, or ISO, you will after taking this course. Here we take you from wherever you are now to shooting in Manual mode. Digital II: Here we take everything you learned in Digital I and we push our camera's even farther. At Laurie's Learn to Skate you will begin in the Kidz 1st step program on the Synthetic ice surface , if your child has never skated before. When they have completed our Kidz first step program and are ready they can move to a 30 minute real ice program on our mini rink or big ice surfaces. We have many programs to continue into such as, School age (beginner and advanced), Figure skating (beginner to advanced), and Hockey skill development (beginner to advanced).
