Clarington Public Library (CPL) is an active and valued cornerstone of the community. Our supportive and friendly staff will help you find what you are looking for and make you feel welcome. We provide the community with free wifi hotspots, quiet study spaces, meeting rooms, access to books, magazines, DVDs, video games, online resources, audiobooks, and eBooks. We had an outstanding group tour. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, giving insight into the many artifacts and workings of this 19th century home, and a history lesson on John and Jemimah Howard's life in Toronto. Read more
