Just got back from my dental appointment, and, wow, the staff sure know how to put a person at ease. Going to the dentist has always been stressful for me, but I left the office with a smile. They gave me fantastic advise and instruction on how to make my dental care easier. The Dental Hygienist that worked on me kept me so amused that I didn't break into my annoying nervous panic. She has experience working with athletes of all levels, those with chronic illnesses as well as high risk populations. Dr. Shaw's practice philosophy is to provide evidence-based care in order to resolve pain and other dysfunction, as well as promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Shaw's passion for people and travel took her to the Dominican Republic in 2013 where she participated in a humanitarian project treating those who otherwise would not have had access to chiropractic care. Her interests outside of the clinic include competitive swimming, kayaking, volley-ball, baseball, and working out. She is also interested in sketching, painting, and knitting.
