Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Rob was intending on moving over to British Columbia, but while passing through Calgary, Rob got offered a job at a landscape company, and it stuck. Quickly Rob took to the work, and opened his own tree company in 1979. Rob ran the Arborest Expert Tree Service for 30 years, before selling it and focusing on Arborist Supply Co. Inc.
