Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. Initially we used John for the front lawn.He always does an excellent job and comes on a regular basis.We started using his services for the snow removal a couple of years ago. We don't need to be the first ones to be cleared after a snow storm but whenever we have to go somewhere we let him know and he is very prompt to clear our driveway.We go away during the winter and we can rely on John to keep our property up to code.100% satisfied with the services and recommends Lawns of Distinction.

I have stopped in to this small and un-assuming bar in the bus terminal a few times, as I have a friend who works there. All in all, it's a great place to hang out for a few drinks, watch the game or just unwind after a long day. There are always quite a few friendly "regulars" there, and by the time you leave they will be your new friends! I first expected to see more downtown "riff-raff" hanging out there, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
Transfers has a pretty basic menu - sandwiches, pitas, caesar salad, nothing too exciting, but everything I have tried has been exceptionally good and the prices are VERY reasonable! For example, my last visit I had a Gyro pita with fries, and it was huge and delicious and only $5.99! Definitely a good value there...it is also worth mentioning that their fries are fantastic - I do not usually eat fries (don't like them) but these were great! I hear the poutine with real cheese curds is out of this world.
If you find yourself at or near the bus terminal with some time to kill, I would recommend stopping in for a drink or three and some food. The ladies that work there are all very nice (I realise I am a little biased here as one of them is a good friend, but it's true) and the atmosphere is fun and laid-back.
The only drawback is that the only (free) parking is on the street...sometimes there aren't any spots, and even the parking lot you have to pay for is sometimes full as well. Not a problem if you're taking the bus I suppose.

Conestoga Contracting came to my house for a spring clean up. I was so pleased with their knowledge and professional services. Its the most detailed fine spring clean up Ive had at my home. I live on 6 acres and have not been able to keep up with the maintenance. I contracted them to continue with the summer and fall maintenance and have not one complaint. I also had a few large trees on my lane way that I wanted cut down, the owner came out to look at them himself and had the job completed that week. I highly recommend them for their great quality and service.
