St. Jude's School was founded in 1980.St. Jude's is a full Special Education Day School for bright students experiencing learning difficulties (grades 1 to 8).St. Jude's School is a temporary alternative to the publicly funded educational system. Students attend St. Jude's only for as long as they need to in order to successfully return to the public system. Each student has his or her unique and individual educational plan and as such may need St. Jude's for a number of school years.St. Jude's classes are very small, ranging in size from 3 to 7 students. The average size of a class is 5 or 6. The students are grouped into classes of three levels of instruction - primary, junior and intermediate. The classes must remain very small so that each student's unique and individual learning styles can be maximized. implemented.St. Jude's teachers have been carefully chosen.
