Independent Living Centreof Waterloo RegionThe independent living centre of Waterloo Region (ILCWR) was the first Independent Living Centre in Waterloo in Canada, founded by the Mennonite Central Committee in 1982. ILCWR is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that is dedicated to providing consumer-directed services and programs to help people with disabilities achieve independence. ILCWR depends on dedicated volunteers, fundraising and generous donations from the community to meet the needs of our consumers.
