Farm Fresh Food & Family Fun We have been in the Rocky Mountain House area since 2006. We were looking for a small community that was vibrant and close to the mountains and where we could start our farming adventures. Craig and myself, Nicole, have four children Noelle 23, Nate, 20, Chaya 18, and Cyndle 14. For the past seven years, we have lived on an acreage and have partaken in homesteading and growing our own food, both plant, and livestock. We homeschooled the kids for most of their school years and loved the adventures of homesteading with the family. In 2022 our dream of expanding to a farm where we could share our harvest with our community came to fruition. We have Registered Canadian Arcott sheep, Pastured Berkshire/ yorkshire and durcoc cross pigs, Pastured Broilers, Free range Egg layers, Pastured Turkey, and Grass Fed Beef.

Kari Holmberg is a certified dog trainer through the Animal Behavior College, a graduate from Red Deer College with a diploma in Business Admin and is certified in canine first aid. Kari has a variety of experience with dogs including (but not limited to); daycare, nutrition, training, boarding, bonding, behavior, gun dog, and working dogs. Kari has recently reopened a dog daycare in Red Deer, and continues to follow her true passion of helping dogs through training, working and behavior modification.

West Haven Nursery is a wholesale tree farm located near Spruce View just 30 minutes west of Red Deer, Alberta. We supply over 80 types of wholesale trees and native shrubs to landscapers, builders, businesses, municipalities, acreage & property owners requiring multiple trees, and oil & gas companies. Our trees are locally grown to survive Alberta's extreme winters (Zone 2 & 3). We mainly supply deciduous trees in 40mm to 100mm trunk sizes and conifers in the 2 M to 3.5M heights. The West Haven greenhouse has capacity to propagate up to 60,000 tree and native shrub plugs/seedlings and we can supply potted native shrubs ready for naturescaping, xeriscaping and reclamation. We are proud members of LANTA and CNLA, since 2001 and all of our trees are grown and harvested to industry standards. Our Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM) focuses on mechanical weed and pest control followed by first-line organic control measures limiting the use of chemicals.
