The Construction and Apprenticeship training facilities at Vaughan and Cobourg prepare trainees and members of Local 183 on the latest equipment, technology and techniques found in the industry. This hands-on experience is meant to simulate a true construction sector setting to ensure that contractors receive workers who are competent and productive. Health and Safety training is provided at both these campuses as well as at our Toronto location at Keele and Wilson. A third construction and apprenticeship training facility in Barrie is currently being developed in order to service the needs of contractors, labourers and trainees in Simcoe County.
