Pat started as a young boy by following his Dad around the job sites on weekends and during his summer holidays and eventually graduated to a broom and shovel. Pat would go on to apprentice as a carpenter after finishing school. During his training, he worked as a finish carpenter in Western Canada on large mansions, some exceeding 16,000 square feet.
