Kinghaven Treatment Centre was established in 1971 and continues to serve an adult male clientele suffering with addiction and/or mental health challenges. The children, while not in treatment, are cared for in a fully-licensed childcare centre at the facility. This program has served in excess of 2,500 women and children. In 2006, Valley House, a 6 bed residential program for the most chronically addicted was opened on the Kinghaven campus and Mollie's Place, a similar 6-bed facility for women, opened on the Peardonville House site in 2008.
