Running August 20-24 in various Winnipeg venues, this year's fest will feature a number of free and tickets shows as well as community celebrations, workshops, film events, and industry networking. AMW will play host to a number of touring acts, including first visits from emcee Tall Paul, violinist Laura Ortman, music producer Astronomar, and hip hop duo Mob Bounce, and guitarist Logan Staats. If you can't find the information you are looking for below, please don't hesitate to contact us at 612-9866 and we can help guide you to finding or creating something delicious.Cakes!We can do all kinds of cakes. Simple cakes, fun cakes, cakes that look like dogs, wedding cakes, and everything in between. All of our cakes are custom, which means we don't have any in the shop to pick up on a whim, they all need to be ordered ahead of time. We usually book about 2-3 weeks ahead, but please call to see if we can squeeze you in.Each cake is made up of two layers of cake with butter cream icing (layered in between and then crumb coated). We finish our cakes off with fondant icing, and as they are our specialty, we don't charge any extra for using that kind of icing. Fondant is a type of icing used to finish off cakes (there is still butter cream inside the cakes) and it is similar in taste and texture to marsh mellows.

Along with commercial voice-over work and acting, he has a love of silent film, magic and pop culture collectibles.Pascal Boutroy – Interim Executive Director, Formerly Vice-President / Vice président (Independent Filmmaker)Pascal Boutroy is an independent scriptwriter and director based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bilingual, he has been working in French and English, in film and television production, for the past 12 years.Originally from France, Pascal Boutroy has studied in Paris and Montréal. Interested in international relations, he worked for six years with CIFEJ, a non-governmental international organization linked with UNICEF and UNESCO, dealing with children films and television.
