While I worked in the helping field since the mid-eighties, my work as a professional therapist began in 2000, after I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at UBC. The people I work with face one or more of the following concerns: anxiety; depression; couple or family issues; grief and loss; low self esteem; residential school; school or workplace concerns; stress and burnout; trauma (PTSD). I recognize the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and comfortable environment in which to explore concerns; respecting clients' treatment goals; assisting clients to gain and master skills to handle symptoms arising from the various challenges they face; and helping clients resolve the issues that continue to interfere with their ability to achieve their life goals and desires.

We provide comprehensive eyecare, pediatric occupational therapy, brain injury assessments and vision training. Our clinic is dedicated to helping children and adults improve visual, motor, and other sensory skills to become more effective tools for school, sports, work and play. We are centrally located in Walnut Grove, just off Highway 1, in Langley. Vision problems may go unnoticed by teachers and parents. Learning, attention and behaviour challenges are common when visual development is delayed. Correcting these problems promotes comfort, confidence and ability to learn. Children do not need to know the alphabet or even speak to have an eye exam. We recommend that all children have routine eye exams at 6 months of age and yearly thereafter.
