A historical lakefront resort and marina conveniently located on the south shore of Rice Lake in the Village of Gore's Landing, just 15 minutes from Cobourg and Port Hope, 30 minutes from Peterborough and 90 minutes east of Toronto with many amenities nearby. We offer an affordable destination for a family vacation, fisherman's getaway or to just enjoy the abundant wildlife. We have several cottages over the water and none more than 150 feet from the water. Our marina is very well protected and offers seasonal and transient dockage and boat rentals, all supported by our many years of boating experience. Nestled in a protected bay with safe swimming and a small sandy beach, we offer 1, 2, 3 and 5 bedroom self-catering cottages in an idyllic setting overlooking the islands. Each cottage has its own unique personality. Quaint 1 and 2 bedroom waters edge cottages, very open and barn-lie 1920 McGaw Boathouse and the 1838 two-storey John Bennett Ferry House that served patrons of the old ferry dock still in use today as a public park. Call and we can discuss which cottage best suit your style and needs.
