This is a basic, no frills restaurant. They serve traditional fare such as club sandwiches and burgers. What they do, they do very well with no fancy frills or additions. The main waitress here is AMAZING. I've never seen another waitress as efficient and accurate.

I go there very often with my family. We all love the food. Obviously, Chinese food in Ottawa pales in comparison to what Hong Kong offers but Cafe Orient's food is the best I can find that reminds me of home. The pricing is pretty decent considering one main dish can be shared among 2 people along with a small appetizer.

Awesome food! Very tasty dishes right from the kitchen to your table (hot). Good service. If you just want great Szechuan and are not fussy whatsoever about the décor, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Spicier if requested (which we did).
