This service is intended for those individuals aged 16 years or older who are experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis who cannot safely wait for community mental health and addiction support. MHAUCC acts as one of HDGH's entry points into the Ontario Ministry of Health's treatment system for Windsor-Essex residents with concerns or who are experiencing problems and/or negative consequences related to substance use. In addition, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s (HDGH) Community Crisis Centre of Windsor-Essex County works in partnership with community social agencies to provide crisis response services to individuals 16 years of age and older who are experiencing an acute mental illness and/or psychosocial crisis. The mission of the Community Crisis Centre is to provide intervention services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to individuals who require immediate assessment, psychosocial intervention, medical intervention, and support.

To help keep our customers and colleagues safe, we have implemented physical distancing guidelines in our branches. Our first hour of operation is dedicated to serve seniors and other vulnerable populations with urgent in-person banking needs. In Quebec, we are serving these customers during regular branch hours with enhanced support for physical distancing.
