WPBS Bookkeeping & Tax Services was originally established in the 1960's by John Walter Parker, and was incorporated in 1971 as W. Parker Bookkeeping Services Limited. In 1984 Mr. Parker's daughter, Marie Dobson, took over the business, and continued to operate it until 2006, when she decided to pursue other business interests. The company was then purchased by Blair Stotesbury, CFP CGA to complement his accounting practice. In 2008, the name was changed to WPBS Bookkeeping & Tax Services, to both honour the founder, W. Parker, and recognize the new owner, Blair Stotesbury. While there have been many changes in accounting practices, office technology and tax laws over the past 35 plus years, one thing hasn't changed - our commitment to client service.

Marino Vereecke began working as an accountant with a national accounting firm [Clarkson Gordon]. During those three years he was exposed to a broad spectrum of businesses. In 1983 he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. From 1983 to 2005 he worked as a Controller and Vice President of Finance for businesses in the computer industry.
