National Little League is Victoria's oldest little league park, having been in existence since 1953. Jerry Hale park, located at the corner of Cook St. and Hillside Ave. is the home to programs in baseball and softball for local youth ages 3 - 12. For girls ages 13 - 18, National provides programs in softball. The organization is 100% volunteer operated and its success depends largely on the involvement of parents and sporting enthusiasts.

Island Waterwise Irrigation was incorporated in February of 2009. Owner Mike Isacson had been working in some of south Vancouver Island's finest gardens since 1995 (including that of the late, great John Trelawny and his wife Ruth in North Saanich). He began operating his own gardening and landscaping business in 1996. Over the years, he increasingly dedicated himself to the study of efficient irrigation practices, and is now one of BC?s most highly certified irrigation professionals. He also teaches irrigation classes for both The Horticulture Centre of the Pacific and the CRD.
