She comes from an artistic family where her father and uncles were photographers, and her grandfather (a Fine Art/Graphic Artist and Author) created Templeton Studios. Renata studied photography at Humber College Of Applied Arts, worked for and learned from Thornhill Photographer David Amoils, and is now working from her own custom built studio in downtown Collingwood above Gabriele Photography. Although clients demand the quick turnaround of digital photography, whenever she gets the chance, Renata still prefers the quality and comfort of the 30 year old Hasselblad camera used by her grandfather, uncles and father.
