Great builder! As a realtor I pay attention when the Wiens' homes are for sale in the resale market as I know there won't be to come up in the home inspection. It's difficult for builders to earn such a good reputation when they have to juggle the pricing changes in the market and still try to be fair to customers who would have backed out of a sale if the market went down yet don't want to pay slightly higher prices when the market goes up lol.

SHERK LUMBER TIMBER MART, located in Port Colborne Ontario, was established in 1810! Can you imagine a business being in the same family for 200 years....now that's longevity. The business was established as a sawmill and lumber business by David Sherk in 1810 and passed on to family members over the following decades with expansion from a mill into thriving retail lumber business. The Sherk family is part of Port Colborne's history and has diversified into several branches and types of mills including saw, cider, threshing, copping and grist, as well as coal and lumber. Ron Sherk, born in 1931, started at the age of 17 in the coal and lumber side of the enterprise.
